Our CGES Robotics team competed at UAH to design and build robots and fields of play. Our students came up with ways to collect samples from Jupiter, launch a bomb into outer space to intercept debris headed towards Earth, drill in a cave so people can stay safe, deliver food via a robobutler, and assist with the visually impaired. Many of our students received medals and will go on to the State Competition. We are proud of our young engineers!
Principal Bergeson was spotted reading the book, Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? to kindergarten students on Brown Crayon Day.
Students at CGE had a load of fun getting to watch the solar eclipse on Monday, August 21st. We want to say thank you to our PTA for the solar eclipse glasses!
Students attended a back-to-school pep rally where Principal Bergeson welcomed students back and went over school behavior. Some Austin cheerleaders were present to lead students in cheers. Go CGE Black Bears!
